Barry Hall has currently got himself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. During the swans 62 point smashing of west coast he landed himself in hot water after a vicious left hook which left opponent Brent Staker with a concussion and the footy world just as dazed. The hit was reminecent of something we'd see on a highlight clip from the 80's but in todays modern game will reap some serious consequences for Hall. The punch was so sevre that some are calling for him to be charged for assault and the family of Staker want Hall banned for the rest of the season.
All the latest talk is of how many weeks Hall will/should get and what other punishments if any he should receive for the violent strike. To add fuel to the fire Hall broke his wrist in a collision with the fence later in the game, meaning he will miss several weeks after having surgery to repair the wrist. Will the suspension even matter for Hall? should he be suspended for longer because of it or perhaps the suspension start when he returns from injury? What are your thoughts on what should and what will happen to Barry Hall after his big hit on brent staker?
